why do we see water droplets on the outer surface of a glass containing ice cold water ?

it is due to condensation...condensation is warming process. the water molecules present in the glass are so cool..and the water molecules present in atmosphere will be warm...when atmospheric molecules collide with cool glass...they collapse there kinetic energy and looses their temperature and gets converted into droplets..
