why do we see water droplets on the outer surface of a glass containing ice-cold water ?

The air around water container contains water vapour which have high energy than the Ice cold water therefore water vapour present in the air loses energy when comes in contact with cold water these are then converted into liquid state which we see as water droplets.

because the cold water takes heat from the surrounding & get evaporated & it left the droplets on the surface of glass as a vapours
