Muddy road reduces the frictional force due to which we slip as we do not get a better grip due to less friction. Frictional force enables us to provide grip on theroad when we are walking.It arises mainly due to interlocking of projections of one surface into depressions of others.

the muddy Road contains soil and water when the soil and water mix together it get sticky and when we walk on road for the soil is muddy and and friction force is enable or we slip we fall down in a muddy Road
