When we inhale air containingdust particles, the particles get trapped in the hair present in out nostrils. Sometimes, these particles may pass through the hair and enter the nasal cavity. ... Sneezing expels the foreign particles from the inhaled airand dust-free clean air enters our body.

We know that we inhale Air through our nostrils, where which hair and mucus are present.

There they filters the air and make it moist. Since, few particles of dust are so tiny to be separated hence, they get in nasal cavity resulting for sudden anxiety and results for sneeze.
