Why do we startled and jump when we hear a sudden explosion or see something big all of sudden. The reason for the question is Reflex action. Reflex action is the sudden movement in the muscles of the body and various parts of the body which can cause involuntary shaking or pulling of certain body parts which is caused due to the action of the brain.

The brain when see a danger is supposed to perform a reflex action in the body which will prevent the danger from the person.
