So cyclotron is unsuited to accelerate electrons,as relativistic effects become important at low energies and radiation loss are very important for electron and put a limit on energy achievable by electrons in a cyclotron. ... If in one revolution the radiation loss equals 2qV then there is no gain in energy thereafter.
