The 2002-03 contesting of elections were permitted only for those who are members of the Communist Party of China or 8 smaller parties allies. The govt. is always set up by the Communist Party.
Reasons for China have a Strong Position Today
- Chinese production is the biggest economy in the world and is a goods exporting country. It is now the 2nd biggest importer of products and is the world's fastest rising consumer market. . It is the world's largest trading nation and plays an important role in global trade and in recent years has been increasingly involved with trade organizations & treaties.
