Why do we use antacids? Write its nature?

Answer:

Our stomach has hydrochloric acid.when the amount of hydrochloric acid increases our stomach become acidic.To slove this problem we use antacids which neutralizes the effect of hydrochloric acid and gives us relief. antacids are basic in nature
