In development , average term is widely used for average income or per capita. This means that the income of each citizen within country . It is the ratio of total population of the country to the total income of population. This gives a roughly idea about the country's development . The biggest flaw of average income is that it doesn't tell the exact income earned by the population as it also includes the income of rich people which hides the exact income earned by the poors.
