Answer:

we use averages because they are useful for comparing the countries development-

- Average is used to calculate the total income of a country' of population but, different countries have different earnings of population , So it does not tell how the individual countries have income .

- For comparison of countries, total income is not useful .

- According to data of World Bank 2017 above 1,43,000 incomes are fall in category of rich countries

below 37,000 called low countries and countries between 1,43,000 - 37,000 or rich -poor countries are called developed countries.

limitations-

it does not tell us exactly that the distribution of things in people and it give not any information about how the the things distributed in that region or country

Answer:

We use averages because they let us compare different amounts of the same category. Because averages don't reveal anything about how something is distributed among individuals, they have limits.

Explanation:

  • The distribution of income is not shown, for instance, by per capita income.
  • Because an average is a single result that represents a collection of values, it must be appropriately evaluated; otherwise, it is possible to draw the incorrect conclusions.
  • The country is split into affluent and poor regions as a result. It doesn't offer an income distribution system for individuals.

As the average of everything provides us with the mean value of comparison, averages are helpful for comparison but still conceal discrepancies.
