Why do we use copper and not silver or graphite for electrical wiring in our houses?

The main reasons are cost/availability, workability, resilience in the field. Copper is relatively abundant and has very good conductive and thermal properties.

basically we use copper in our hoses because it's cheap as compared to silver ,

Explanation:

Even though silver conducts better electricity than copper we do not use it because of it's high cost..

Graphite is not used because,

graphite it's a non-metal that conducts electricity well but it cannot be moulded into wires which is also called malleability so we dont use silver and graphite for wiring purpose
