Why do we use other materials instead of plants for some of our daily needs, like synthetic fibre instead of cotton or plastic instead of wood ?

There are many benefits of using the man-made fibres as compared to the plant products.

Synthetic fibres are more durable and less costlier than the plant fibres which is why they are more popular thna natural fibres.
