Thus, we need a standardmeridian for the country. In India 82 ½ °E longitude determines the standard time

We need standard time in common for our country so that our country should follow a common time which has no changes . Ex. Gujrat and Arunachal pradesh has time difference of 2 hrs so we have standard time to avoid confusion
