Why do we we remove or dissolve chlorophyll from the leaf during the photosynthetic experiment ?

Answer:

During Photosynthesis experiment if ethanol is used, then it reacts and automatically decolorizes the green leaf, and it also removes the green colored chlorophyll pigment from that leaf, which supports the photosynthesis process of a plant to prepare its food from sunlight and water.
