There are pores in woolen clothes which trap heat between them. As air is a bad conductor of heat, it prevents the loss of heat from our body and also does not let us feel the cold outside. This keeps us warm which is actually the reason why we wear woolen clothes.

we wear woollen clothes in winter because air is a poor conductor of heat and woollen clothes do not allow the transfer of body heat to the environment and keep us warm.
