Why do we wish for another chance?

Ok this is lame but haven't you heard it by Removing D'Souza that "life is all about a second chance" or "life is all about a next step"..... We wish for another chance to prove ourselves...... Coz if v didn't have to, why would we go and do the same thing or feel humiliated again ... We ask for a second chance because we know that we can do much better  You cannot please everyone every time but by getting a second chance we get a hope to make people happy at the same moment..... WE WISH FOR ANOTHER CHANCE BECAUSE WE KNOW THAT WE ARE CAPABLE OF DOING THINGS MUCH BETTER....
