Why do we write ' A big fat dog. '
But, we don't write ' A fat big dog. '
As, according to the order of adjectives both fall in the category of SHAPE of an OBJECT??

Answer:

We do this because when we say A big fat dog that means We are first describing the dog as big. Later on we describe it as fat.

But it is wrong to say A fat big dog because you are describing first and then you are saying it is a big dog

THIS IS WHY WE SAY THIS
