This is because:
- Wool yielding animals are found in the colder region.
- They have thick fur coat on their body to keep them warm in cold climatic conditions.
- They do so by trapping heat in their coats which helps them in keeping warm.

THESE TYPE OF ANIMALS LIVE MOSTLY IN COLD ENVIRONMENT,THAT'S WHY THEIR BODY IS COVERED WITH HAIR(WOOL) TO PROTECT THEM FROM EXTREME COLD.(IN WINTERS)
AFTER WINTER SEASON IS GONE ,THE AMOUNT OF WOOL BECOME A GREAT TROUBLE FOR THEM.( BECAUSE THE AMOUNT OF HEAT IT ABSORBS IS NOT GOOD FOR ANIMALS).SO THE WOOL IS CUTTED DOWN IN SUMMER SEASON.
AND WOOL AGAIN GROWS COMPLETELY TILL WINTER SEASON TO PROTECT THEM.
