We know that woolen cloths are thick and it hold the air inside. This we wear it in winter. In the same way as this holds in air it also holds water so it is difficult to evaporate the cloth fast. Thus woolen clothes take more time to evaporate than synthetic fibers.

Woollen clothes take longer time to dry than clothes made from synthetic fibres because woollen clothes have high capacity of holding water and then it take a long time to evaporate water from the woollen clothes.
