we know,

anything which occupy space is called matter. as in solid the particles of solid are closely packed while in gas they are far way from each other any possess kinetic energy. so air is a matter.

Yes air is a matter because it is a gas composed mostly of nitrogen, oxygen, and argon, and gasses do have mass because they're molecules bouncing around a contained volume (here, the atmosphere ). water vapor, mixed in to some extent with air, is also a gas and therefore has mass.
