Hi friend,

Myself salsa here to help you!!

The main reason is due to a factor known as "Inertia".

This plays a very important role in day -to-day life.

OK. let's come on to your question.

We will fall while the bus is stops suddenly. This is because when the bus is stopped by applying brakes it stops but we continue in our state for few seconds.

Thus is why we are getting infront.

And when we are at rest the bus also remains rest . When the bus starts suddenly we the bus moves infringe while we remains in the same state.

This looks as we are moving back while continues suddenly.

Hope I helped you little!!!!

Heya friend,

Why do we fall in the forward direction when a moving bus apply brakes to stop and fall backwards when it accelerates from rest?

Answer- We fall in forward direction when a moving bus apply brakes because when the bus was moving, our upper part of body and the bus both are in motion, and when the bus apply brakes our body tries to be in motion because of inertia of motion and experiences a forward push.

And when a bus at rest accelerates from rest , the passengers fall backwards, as initially both bus and our upper part of body is in state of rest and when it's starts moving our body tries to be in state of rest due to inertia of red rest and the passengers feel a backward push.

Note - Inertia is the inability of the body to change its state of rest or motion by itself.

Hope it helps..!!
