why do you fall in the forward direction when a moving bus brakes to a stop fall backwards when it accelerates from rest ?

due to the law of inertia....when we sit in a bus our feet remain in touch with the ground or down part of the vehicle....when the bus starts we are pushed backwards and when it stops we are pushed forward...when the bus is moving and stops suddenly our body is still in the influence of the moving bus and we fall forward....when the bus stops we are also in a still position and when it starts we are still influenced by the still movement...
