I love windy weather. Here in the L.A. Basin, we get the Santa Anas, or it's also called the North Wind. It gusts and blows so hard that sometimes it will uproot an old tree, blows fall leaves all over and damage power lines. If the tree wasn't bear before, it shortly would be. The nice thing about these winds is that it would blow all the smog from the Inland Empire back into L.A.

I lived on a hill in Riverside with the San Bernardino Mountains framing the horizon. With the clean air, our view of these mountains would become so crisp in the distinctive outline and crevices of those mountains that it was like going from regular TV to high definition.
