Why do you plant cells need a cell wall and animal cells do not?

because plant do not move and to protect themselves cell wall is present where as animals move from one place to another to protect themself and therefor they do not need cell walls.

plant cell : because it grows up and out, where they can get lots of sunlight for making their food.
animal cell : because they do not need them.
