hi!

  • Moon is the celestial boy we all see at night in the sky
  • Moon appears to be bright (luminous) but actually its not.
  • Moon is a non luminous celestial body
  • The light of a star i.e., sun falls on it and by some reflections and refractions the moon appears to be bright.it means the light from sun falls on moon and then immediately bounces back to earth.
  • The part of moon where he sunlight falls appears to be bright and rest of it remain dark.you can observe this every night in the sky.the change in phases of moon i.e, from cresent moon to full moon(pournami) and then to no moon(amavasya).
