Swaminathan was curious to know whether the mangoes are ripe or not from the beginning. He couldn’t assume that the values given in the sum are imaginary and he would like to know if Rama sells mangoes for justice and wants to know if he is true.
He feels that his father harassed him to know the price of mangoes and he wishes him to find it out from market. He is not interested to find out how much Krishna would pay.
At last by simplifying the values, he found out that it was six annas Krishna would have paid and he burst into tears, believing that at last he found the answer and that too Krishna has paid much – six annas – for four mangoes. He believed that Rama has cheated Krishna by selling at high cost. So, he burst into tears.
