why do you think an elected government may not be a democratic

SirYaSir: Are you asking about the present elected government, or questioning electoral democracy?
win4: present
SirYaSir: Okay
SirYaSir: is this for an assignment or you just wanna hear personal opinions
win4: assignment
SirYaSir: When a government/system is controlled by very few people at the top, and citizens or elected representatives have no voice in their government. When powers are centralised, and restrictions are imposed on citizens fundamental rights including freedom of speech and expression. Then the government is said to be undemocratic. Unfortunately, our governments are showing some of these characteristics, which is not good at all.

an elected govt may or may not be democratic because its upto him whether he would perform all of his duties with loyality and with full dedication or not...More the policies which he promised to provide during the election campaign ,he must abide to them if he doesnot do then he is not democratic.
HOPE YOU FIND IT HELPFUL..
