Why do you think are the people curious to know about the secret of distant stars and galaxies at the beginning of the universe?

It's believed that life can exist in some other planet and so they trying to find new life forms in space. It is believed that there was a blast millions of years ago which resulted into space and it's known as the big bang theory. The space is still expanding.
