Yes, I think happiness to others even at a cost to myself brings happiness. When we help someone in their needs we are removing their sorrow and worries of their life. This brings smiles on mine and other face. This in return can bring positive effects on me and spread happiness and peace around my friends ,family, neighbors and ultimately the world. I have felt this way many times in my life. A small appreciation or a thankfulness or a smile or a act of help bought me happiness and satisfaction.
