Explanation:

No automotive company is really keen on creating driverless cars, except for startups and companies who have an interest in distributing the automotive industry. For any of the Big auto manufacturers, it is a way too much money and way too distribute for their value chain to divest their R&D budgets and human resources into this. The reason being, it doesn't help their bottom-line, especially at a time when car manufactures see their sales stalling, not even a decade after the 2008 crisis that saw many manufacturers go bankrupt and disappear.
