Why do you think children under 18 years are not allowed to vote in elections?

Hi Mate !!!
Here is your answer
Fundamentally, children are not considered competent. In most every first-world nation, children are limited in their capabilities or functions within society by law. This is due to the fact that they lack emotional maturity, they lack their own ability to make decisions, and because they are easily manipulated. In reality, children are no easier to manipulate than adults - the methodologies are just different.
Another example is that the same reason children are unable to consent to sex, their brains are not developed enough to support a fully rational, well-informed decision without coaxing, coaching, or conditioning. This is something I deal with daily working with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. This is the same reason why 30 states and the District of Columbia in the US have similar rules exempting the mentally incompetent from voting (requirements are quite stringent, normally required a severe handicap to cognition, a court order, and physician’s recommendation.
A final example is in contract law - wherein children are not considered to be competent enough to grasp the long-term bindings of a contract. For this reason, children can’t get married, enter into a cell phone contract, or take out a bank loan because they lack the mental faculties to grasp long-term commitments and ramifications - such as finances. This does not imply that ALL children lack this understanding nor does it imply that ALL adults do, however generally adults understand these things much more than children and as a result they have protections in place preventing them from being victimized. The same could easily apply to politics.

The main reasons why children under 18 years are not allowed to vote in elections are:
● Children below 18 years do not have enough maturity to understand the social activities of society and laws provided by constitution.
● they do not have a mindset to decide a person whether he is right to represent them in the Assembly.
● They the get easily attracted towards the promises and gifts offered by the candidates participating in election are sometimes may get influenced by their speeches easily.
