The purpose of a colony is so that a powerful country can dominate a poorer country, take their raw materials, manufacture goods, and then sell them back to the poor country. It's tough to say if colonization or industrial modernisation occurred first.

Answer:

Example: colonization of India by Britain

Explanation:

Colonization accompanied modernization because the country which is ruling always tries to import its colonies products to its country with less price and for their benefits they will develop their colonies. This modernization which is resulted because of colonized country helps the colony to be developed.
