Being Honest, This was a fact if you talk of early 19 th Century yet there are Parents who treat their children equally. Some of them are as follows.
Sarojini Naidu : She was an Indian political activist and poet. A proponent of civil rights, women's emancipation, and anti-imperialistic ideas, she was an important figure in India's struggle for independence from colonial rule.
Naidu's work as a poetess earned her the sobriquet 'the Nightingale of India', or 'Bharat Kokila' by Mahatma Gandhi because of colour, imagery and lyrical quality of her poetry.
She was the eldest of the eight siblings. Her brother Virendranath Chattopadhyay was a revolutionary, and another brother Harindranath was a poet, a dramatist, and an actor.
She had two brothers yet she is the most popular and she wouldn't if she had been neglected because of being a girl.
Kalpana Chawla : who was the first woman of Indian origin to go to space.
She had one brother and two sisters but among all She is well reknowned and if their was discrimination then you would know Sanjay Chawla not Kalpana.
We Indians had great reforms removing Sati and Supporting Girl Education.
Jyotiba Phule and Savitribai Phule are pioneer of women education in India. There are many more reformers to support Girl Education and We Indians had overcomed this in almost all respect and would literate every women every girl so that not only boys Roshan ( enlighten ) the names of their parents but also girl too set the achievement and history on Fire with their bright mind and intelligent souls.
