I think the people believe that the daughters will marry and left their parents home for forever. if they will give assets or property to the daughter what is the guarantee of she will take good care of it or not as she will be busy in her life.Moreover, Indian society gives priority to the son very much and also the Indians think that daughters are the burden of one family as they have to take care and have to marry daughters.It also might be the reason that daughters are considered weaker than sons and also because they considered that daughters are the guests of some days. this might be the reasons behind daughters are not getting equal share of their parents property.
