Because some animals bone were sharp and it was easy to shape then stone


And needle should be soft not so hard… stones would take much time to shape it

Animal bones were thinner than stones and bones were easily available as animal bones were the part of natural resources. It is easy to give shapes to the bones than animal bones hence forth early humans made sewing needles from bones not from stones.
