During old age male child only had a chance to school and further education ... and to get a good job...
womens were household workers
during their marriage dowry were necessary..
they were not useful at that time and burden
and most of them undergo abortion...
so they give preference to male child...

In many Tribal and undeveloped countries and Cities and the people who are poor prefer Boys because boys are more easier to be looked after and once they reach their teenage they can take care of themselves. Whereas Girls are not easy to be taken care of . Even in teenage Girls do not live in a safe community nowadays. Girls nowadays live in a unsafe community .
