Why do you think Greenland is seen as white in colour instead of green on the world map?

I think you have got them mixed around. Iceland is mostly green, rocky land, with a glacier in the south east of the country, whereas Greenland is covered in ice-sheets. Look on google earth and you will see the difference. Greenland is alot colder than Iceland. Its a common (understandable) mistake and misconception about the two. The only thing i can think of is that you may have been to the Glaciers in Iceland, and the far south coast of Greenland, which might in fact be very green.

Greenland is present in the Tundra region .

it remains frozen for most times of the year.

That is why Greenland is not shown in green .

Greenland is always shown in white and that is the primary reason .

The latitude and position of Greenland is the result of its low climate.

Its low temperature is the reason why which it remains frozen.
