It is extremely important to learn about the disaster mitigation for both of them.

Because students are the one who are the future of the society, it would be great if they know how to tackle the situation like disaster in order to minimize their effects. Similarly for the teachers it is important because they have to furthur spread that knowledge effectively, they are the one who can motivate general public as well as the students to know the methods to minimize disasters effect.

Additionally , both students and teachers and belong to the educated people of the society, they will do the best according to their knowledge and also spread message by arranging exhibitions , conferences and public awareness walk etc.

We are facing a lot of drastic changes in temperature and weather due to global warming, pollution and many other factors. Due to which, the rate of hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunami are more now as compared to earlier times. Now, its time that the whole society should be taught how to deal with these disasters. So that everyone should be well aware of the essential measures which should be taken to overcome that disaster.
It is most important to learn and get training about it for teachers as well as for students. The students mostly learn everything from their teachers in their early ages, so it is very important that teachers should be well aware of the natural hazards which they might face in their areas. They should teach their students about the precautionary measures that should be taken to overcome any disaster and what actions should be taken afterwards.
