Why do you think it is important that people abide by the laws?

It is said that society preceded a lawlessness with Matsya- Nyay (Manusmriti) . According to Hobbies, Locke and some others Society and state were created to protect the innocent and right persons. Rules and laws were created to run the society and it has evolved till date.
If people start transgressing and violating laws it will create a chaos with the bullying, usurpation and deliberately inflicted injustice, pain and killing. Power and money would undermine the humanity.
It will be just like a horse unbridled, a vehicle without brake.

because the laws are make for people beneficial and laws help to main equality among people and that helps whose people which are poor and low caste to give his rights
