well, According to the scientist the things in our surroundings are made of the star and supernova . They say that when the star lose his energy  and exhausted its supply of hydrogen it goes to dying through a explosive state it explode in a very violent way . This explosion is known as nova and massive star explosition is known as the supernove . The star while dying become more and more brighter and finally it's parts explode and parts spread through out the galaxy. These also  reach the earth and made the basic unit for the things we see in our surroundings.
