Why do you think Jesus turned the
water into wine?
Answers
Before we begin...
In the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. † †
Well, it was a wedding taking place at Cana wherein Jesus, his mother and his disciples were invited. The wedding had wine for the invitees and to the orginizer's surprise, all wine was gone, it was finished.
Jesus's mother told Jesus that all the wine was over and that they had no more wine to serve. There it was, his time. Jesus asked his disciples to fill up those ceremonial washing jars that the wedding had. Each jar was able to hold 25 to 30 gallons of water. And to his notice the jars were filled up to the brim.
Jesus, now, asked his servants to draw some water out and take it to the master of the banquet. They did so and the master of the banquet tasted the water and, to his surprise, the water was turned to wine. He didn't realised where it had come from. And to the guest's notice, they had wine to drink.
All Jesus did was the first of his signs. The signs through which he revealed his glory to the mankind.
