According to me, more rapes happen in India because the people are more unconcerned in India. Moreover, In India the police is not active in most cases. There are many social evils like, taking bribe, etc. That's the reason why more rapes happen in India. People know the police of India is careless so they get courage to do such bad and irrelevant acts or crimes.

People are not concerned about the female security and respect and they don't have any shame of thier bad things done and take it very less conscious about their doings and take very less serious
