The narrator chose to describe the month of March and not any other month because March is a transitional month of where spring comes as a result of the amalgamation of both summer and winter.
Explanation:
- This season is highly unpredictable while one can see life at its fullest during this time of the year.
- This is an excellent poem called March written by Khushwant Singh.

answer :
March is a month of transition one where you can see the vagaries of nature in the foolest.the month of March is highly and unpredicated spoken about so exquisitelly in the account by the author in edison, the very fact that every aspect of life transforms in such a lovely manner is perhaps what has promoted the author to choose these month over others.
this is my own answer .
