Why do you think one should go under a table during an earthquake?

during heavy earthquake it is necessary to go outside the home.tall trees.buildings because when heavy earthquake occures houses or buildings may be collide and a normal wooden or steel table cannot keep the weight of the bricks particle or many other object so we should go out but when a less earthquake occurs a house cannot be collide so we can stay under a table
