Why do you think our constitution had to provide special provisions to uplift marginalized groups ?

It was important for the lower caste people to put their ideas forward and give them the right to vote.

So constitution had made seats reserved for lower caste people and also launched certain govt schemes to uplift them and give them education

One of the reasons that lead to the the constitution having provisions for the marginalized groups of people was to have them uplifted because for a long time they have been set aside. When resources from the government are being distributed they are not able to  get them because there are no representatives in the areas. But now there are several changes that have been made to enable them to be represented and have equal shares of resources from the government.
