Rayon is not a synthetic fibre.. It is a regenerated cellulosic fibre manufactured from wood pulp. Though it is a man made fibre, it is 100% natural and cellulosic as that of Cotton.. As the base raw material for Rayon is wood Which is nothing but cellulose, it burns readily like Cotton..
