India. Out of 28 States and 8 Union Territories that India has, only 6 Indian states, viz. Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh, have bicameral Legislatures, the rest all have Unicameral Legislatures.

Answer:

When the Govt of India Act of 1935 was enacted to abolish dyarchy( provided by Govt of India Act of 1919) in provinces, Bicameralism was introduced initially in six provinces - Bengal , Bombay, Madras, Bihar, Assam and United Provinces.

The constitution of India allows for a state's legislative assembly to decide whether it wants a bicameral or unicameral legislature., and they can change the same if majority of the house approves it.
