Caste rules are rigid because of the stubbornness of society. Caste rules were formed centuries ago and with time passed, people progressed, but the rules didn't. This is harmful to the youth of society and comes even in the way of societal benefits for today which were restrictions some centuries ago.

Caste system was never rigid in ancient India, though it prevailed from time to time . It was only after the invaders and plunderers settled here, that the caste system became a handy tool for them to divide and rule. It was an Devils idea to divide and entangle the people and give vent to the casteist fire,by igniting untouchability, that was never practised earlier. After the Moghuls ,the Britishers too indulged in such tactical activities,to keep us divided. Soon after the independence, the Congis were even a step ahead and made this evil as their proverbial ‘ Brahmastra’ to divide the masses and set up the dynastic misrule. The fire thus ignited went on to give birth to the Charade of RESERVATION . Had Britshers invented the idea of caste based reservations, and used it as a tool, they would have stayed here for centuries to come.Any way ,what can’t be cured must be endured.
