nobles gasses are placed seperate because they are unreactive while other elements in the periodic table are reactive . this is due to the reason that their octact is completed so they are stable. they don't need to form bonds with other atoms.

Because they are in their octate state and also they don't react with other elements....
They are also known as group 18 elements.....
