Though there is no denying the fact that every citizen in India is given right to seek justice in court but for reality a vast majority of poor people in India is quite difficult to seek justice . It's because legal process take a lot of money and and securing paper work takes a lot of time. In such circumstances the poor is illiterate or whose income is meagre cannot seek justice.
keeping in mind all these things the Supreme court of India introduced PIL in 1980 as result of this mechanism any person or organisation can file PIL on behalf of those who cannot file case themselves in court.
